Bharti AXA Ties Up With Wishfin To Offer Policies Via WhatsApp
Bharti AXA General Insurance, a private non-life insurer, has tied up with financial marketplace Wishfin’s insurance arm Wishpolicy, to offer two-wheeler insurance to customers via WhatsApp.
This service option is an instant and additional customer service option for policyholders, apart from Bharti AXA General Insurance’s multiple channels, including its network of branches, customer care and contact centre, dynamic portal, and intelligent chatbot.
Commenting on the partnership, Sanjeev Srinivasan, Managing Director (MD) and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Bharti AXA General Insurance, said, “We are happy to partner with Wishfin, a growing web aggregator offering insurance products, for reaching out to new-age consumers, and to provide them a cost-effective and hassle-free two-wheeler insurance scheme. With mobile instant messaging platform like WhatsApp, we are making it easier for customers to get two-wheeler policy through an effortless communication channel.”

Wishfin partnered with WhatsApp a year back for testing its business solutions. It has used WhatsApp for servicing its customers and plans to drive transactions on WhatsApp, which has more than 200 million daily active users in India.
